Its offical Bill Parcells is now the man in Miami. One day after hiring Jeff Ireland who spent the past seven years in Dallas as the player personal director, Parcells fired coach Cam Cameron.
After starting 0-13 for the Dolphins in his first year as head coach he was let go this morning after finishing his one and only year in the NFL at 1-15. The Miami Dolphins are now in control by Mr. William Parcells. This is the first time in 37 years that the Miami Dolphins had fired there head coach but it is also the first year they went 1-15. Cameron was very low key with his team and the media, not one of Parcells favorite things to do. Parcells is an in your face type coach and Cameron was the exact opposite. He did win over the players early in the year but as they began losing that feeling from the players dwindled. That means that this Miami Dolphins team will be turned into a Bill Parcells team by the end of training camp next year. He will start to bring in Parcells guys, like he did with Ireland in Dallas.
You can almost gurantee that the next head coach of this team will be somone that worked under Parcells in Dallas, New England, or the Meadow Lands. This new coach will get this team into form. I don’t think that they will be in the playoffs for a couple years but my the end of Parcells 4 years as VP they will begin to challenge the Patriots for the AFC East crown. The early front runner for the job are Cowboys assisant coach Tony Sparano, who was with Parcells in Dallas. Other coaches in the mix are old school coaches including Marty Schottenheimer and Art Shell. Stay with educatedbet.com to get the latest news on the Dolphins coaching carousel and other hot topics.
