I Bet There Sticking with There Guy!

Roger & Family

Roger Clemens will throw batting practice to minor leaguers this week at the Houston Astros’ spring training camp.

Jimmy Stanton, director of media relations for the team, said Clemens is expected to show up at the minor-league complex Tuesday, but would not work with the players. Clemens will throw Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, he said. Clemens informed the Astros that he won’t answer any questions from the media, Stanton said. His oldest son, Koby is a catcher in the farm system. Clemens also has a personal services contract with the Astros that will kick in when he officially retires.

I really think that this is a good thing that Clemens is going to the spring training. It will give him some normalcy back in his life that he really needs, even if he is guilty. But the fact that he is not answering questions from the media is LAME! He should step up his game and take a few questions from them just to amuse them. To make things worse for Clemens on Monday the New York Times reported that House staffers have drafted a letter asking the Justice Department to investigate whether Clemens made false statements to Congress about steroids and performance-enhancing drugs.

I don’t think that this bolds well for Roger at all…because if you watched the hearings on February 13 you saw that he was tripping over his own words and never really answering the actual question that was asked by Congress. Now Roger is in for the ride of his life, if the FBI and federal investigators come in. O and a little side note to Roger…You can kiss the Hall of Fame goodbye!
