NBA Draft

Michael Beasley reportedly is expected to leave Kansas State after one season and enter the NBA draft.

While Beasley is expected to be one of the top picks in the June 26 draft if he declares, the consensus All-American called in advisers and family members over the weekend to help him make a choice before his self-imposed 6 p.m. ET deadline. Nobody doubts his NBA potential. Quick, strong and agile, the 6-foot-10 power forward had the second-most rebounds and third-most points of any freshman in NCAA history and led the Wildcats to their first NCAA tournament victory in 20 years.

All right Beasley is not the one of the top draft picks he is the top draft pick in the NBA draft no question. Why would you not pick this kid, he has all the tangebles of a great NBA star. Like I have been saying for the past couple weeks, it is so tough for these kids to stay the full four years of college because they just look at the amount of money these scrubs make in the NBA and say hey I am better then him I wonder what I would make. And they go and even if they are a total bust they get that guranteed money and still get to play in the NBA for a few years. So I cant blame him for leaving or any college player at all for leaving but in Beasley’s case I think that it is the right move!
