Maybe Big D can handle Pacman Jones.

The Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans agreed in principle on a trade on Wednesday for the suspended cornerback. The agreement, which was first reported by ESPN’s Ed Werder, was confirmed to The Associated Press by both teams. No terms had been filed with the NFL office, which already had closed for the day. Sources tell Werder that Dallas will send its fourth-round pick (the 126th overall) in Saturday’s draft to the Titans for Jones.

There are also conditions attached to the trade related to Jones being reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and how much he plays for the Cowboys. If he plays a significant amount of time in 2008, the Titans will get an additional pick from the Cowboys in 2009. If he doesn’t get reinstated by the NFL, sources said the Cowboys get the Titans’ fourth-round pick in 2009. This trade works out very very good for the Cowboys…all they had to do was give up a fourth round pick for the once 6th overall pick and if he does not play they get that pick back, thats pretty sweet.

If I had to guess I would say that he will be reinstated by the league and that THE COWBOYS WILL WIN THE SUER BOWL. This is the biggest hole the Cowboys had to fill on there defense and return game. He is a shut down corner and along with Terrance Newman can lock up receivers and allow Wade Phillps to go blitz happy. I love this pick up and being a HUGE HUGE Cowboys fan I hope that Pacman does not stick it to us like he did the Titans…but a little side note who was the last troubled player to get traded for a late draft pick…I think his name was Randy Moss, I am just saying…Moss was unhappy in Oakland and is tearing it up in New England so I look for Pacman to do the same in BIG D!
