The Houston Rockets’ recent run has been nothing short of amazing. Nineteen straight wins with this particular roster…UNBELIEVEABLE!

The Rockets are now sitting on the victorious 19th hole after their 91-73 win Monday night over the Nets, and have a very good chance of surpassing the second-longest win streak in NBA history, the 20 compiled by the Bucks in the 1970-71 season. They have this chance aganisit the Hawks on Wednesday night! A quick little side note about this win streak…they have a chance to tie the second longest streak on Wednesday but to beat the longest streak in NBA history, they would have to win 2 weeks straight of more games! The all time record is 33 by the 1971-72 Lakers. WOW, i dont think that the Rockets will win 33 in a row, that is just me thinking out loud!

Right now though the Rockets are looking at that number 1 seed, they sit just a game back of the Spurs and Lakers! Lets say that the Rockets win there next two aganisit the aforementioned Hawks and then the Bobcats…starting Sunday they have a brutal 5 game span where we will find out how good of a team they actually are! They play the Lakers, Celtics, Hornets, Warriors and Suns. Do I think that they will win all 5 of those games…NO NO NO…but even if they go 2-3 in those 5, as long as there in each game will say something for them in the playoffs…because they will have to be beaten 4 times in the playoffs. But thats all I am going to talk about the Rockets for now…check back late next week to see how they did aganisit those 5 teams and we will find out what kind of team they actually are!
