My educated bet is that this was the bloodiest fight in UFC and MMA history!
For our customers who bought an MMA pick for UFC 80 from our Ala Carte sports pick you know you put some cash in your pocket. We had Penn as the strong favorite
But I didn’t Know it would play out in a blood bath.
Actually, when it was all said and done, Penn was BATHING IN VICTORY and Stevenson’s BLOOD.
It all started when Penn took him down to the matt and through an elbow across the fore head of Joe Stevenson. The strike looked like one that was taught by Giacetti, Iron MIke Tysons old trainer.
You know, the right cross with THE ELBOW FOLLOW THROUGH. Stevenson was split wide open above the brow and the blood began to spill all over the ring. Between rounds they could not stop the bleeding. The ring looked like a slaughter house. Stevenson was white as a ghost, I thought he was in shock. I couldn’t imagine its all that comforting when you feel the warm blood running all over your face. He might have been thinking how can I fight with all the blood loss and how much is left.
He lost enough blood he turned white. Hope he is back to fight again
