DAY TWO OF HOW TO BE A PROFESSIONAL HANDICAPPER

It’s Monday do you still want to be a proffessional handicapper and impress your friends by beating up on sportsbooks ?

Monday Day 2

By now most of the sports books have their lines opened and out to us Clowns.

Then your are going to document each line move for the day. I keep track of the line moves using 3 different sportsbooks. Make sure that you always use the same 3 sportsbooks, day in and day out.
This will allow you to be more organized, gain familiarity with the sites, and better enable you to track line movement. This time a year, a proffessional handicapper like myself will do this for the NHL, MLB playoffs and 4 different soccer leagues.

That was Day 2, it is pretty simple so far, but a day in the life of a proffessional handicapper is time consuming and you must always be organized. “Like in life, organization will be a major key to your Success.”

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROFFESSIONAL HANDICAPPER

So you want to be a professional handicapper………….

First of all it is not easy, it is a full time proffession and I am going to show you Clowns how I do it. Don’t be offended by me calling you Clowns,its a term of endearment for my fellow sports bettors, so get over it.

Let’s look at the life, day by day, of a professional handicapper starting Sunday night through the following Sunday.

DAY 1

Sunday

A majority of the lines come out around 8 :00 pm for the next week’s games. Start working immediately and get off to a good start on day one of handicapping.

NEW ENGLAND BEATING THE SPREAD

Can New England do it ?

We all know the only NFL team to go undefeted in one season was the 1972 Miami Dolphins. They finished the regular season 14-0 and won all 3
playoff games to finish with a 17-0 perfect season. This New England team is simply blowing people out while averging over 34 points a game.

But as a fellow gambler my question is not if they could win all their games, can the keep covering the point spread?

New England is a perfect 6-0 Against The Spread and we all know how hard it is to cover 6 games in a row. If somebody has accurate information about the most time a team has ever covered a pointspread in a row,we would love to hear from you.

In the mean time lets keep watching this team. They are a 17 point favorite on the road versus Miami. Each week will get harder.But if they could ever pull this off, this would be some kind of streak Vegas would hate to see.

RED SOX VS. INDIANS , THEY BOTH HAVE LOVELY ACCESSORIES

I really love the accessories the SOX and TRIBE players wear.

Come on Clowns do we really want to see this?

I am trying to watch playoff baseball and I cant. There are to many accessories on the players distracting me.

First you have Beckett (Sox), wearing what appears to be Soap on a Rope with a lovely Hemp Chain. Or it could be the IDOL that Greg Brady wore when he wiped out surfing in Hawaii. How can you pitch with a bar of Dove Soap around your neck. He should have used a bar of Irish Spring and tried to pitch a no hitter, but it probably wouldn’t match the Hemp Necklace.

Then you have Super Manny with his Doo Rag and dread locks. Unlike Super Man he doesn’t care about concealing his identity, he took off his helmut about 10 times so we can see who he was.

Next you have Cabrera(Tribe) sporting a really cute Pearl Necklace, that truely compliments his uniform.

Finally you have 40 yr old Lofton (Tribe) sporting a Mr. T. Necklace left over from the 80’s. “I pitty the fool”, Not really he runs like the wind.Only 1 more stolen base in post season he’ll be #1 all time.

Great night for fashion, but the Loss didn’t look to good on the Tribe.

I hope I can get back handicapping rather than the distractions of Fashion in this series.

CAN YOU WIN BY BETTING AGAINST THE PUBLIC ?

You can not win betting against the public.

Back in the early 80’s, I use to bet against the public to win money betting on sports.

Here was my approach that got me no where. I had a friend that was a bookmaker. We use to get a consensus of his players by making a mark next to the team his players would bet on.

Then we joined a consensus service of the top handicappers in the nation( I know now these handicappers were just marketing genius’s that knew nothing about beating the point spread).

Anyhow, our next approach would be take a public consensus on the parlay cards my friend would sell. I am sure you know about these cards, the one’s you have to pick at least 4 winners to win

Then we would add everything up and come out with our plays. We would have some weeks that we won so many games we really thought we were on to something. We always kept track of our wins and losses but never could we win over a long time period.
