It’s About Time

Johan Santana is finally out of Minnesota and headed to New York….thats right he is going to be a Yankee…NOT!!! He is headed to the Mets. This is the first time that I can remember in a long time that the Yanks and the Sox did not land the biggest name guy out there. But for the Yankee’s I think that this is a very good thing. Let me tell you why, they have not won a title in it seems like forever and each year they always go after the biggest name out there, why I dont no.

They have the biggest payroll every year and always at least win the AL East. But usually when they try and get that big name guy they end up giving away most of there excellent prospects who just need a few years to develop and will be great major leaguers.
