I Need A Point Guard

With all the talk around the All-Star balloting and which players should be in and not in, I am going to focus on one poisition, that of the Point Guard. This is the first year that almost every point guard from the west could be on the team. Lets go throuh them,Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Tony Parker, Allen Iverson, Baron Davis, and Darrent Williams. Thats 7 players with only 2 roster spots and a reserve player. The west is stacked with point guards and a little side note Iverson is not even a true point guard.

We will start off with the man who I think is the best point guard in the game right now and has been for the past 3 seasons…Steve Nash. The Suns are always in a game because of Nash and they always put up a million and one points because everytime he has the ball he is looking to push it up the court.

Barbaro…A Final Goodbye

Its not often that I get to write about Horse Racing, but it is something that I like to watch on TV and even more, I like to go to the OTB and put a few dollars on the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and the Belmont. Its always a good time at the OTB, because if your not a big gambler you could put a few dollars on any horse you want. It makes the race more interesting and the race is only about 2 minutes long.

But a couple years ago there could have been history made, after Barbaro won the Kentucky Derby, easily I mite add he was the favorite to win the Triple Crown even easier. But out of the gate at the Preakness Barbaro came up limp and something happened to one of his legs. A long story short the horse had to have surgery and it was not sure how much longer they would allow him to live and he was eventually

My Educated Bet…Kidd Stays…

Well its that time of year in the NBA again…with the trade deadline approaching, the biggest name out there again is Jason Kidd. Every year its the same thing with Kidd, he always wants to be traded and never ever goes anywhere. It is true the Nets are not going anywhere and the only way to get better is to trade him to a contender. I am sure Kidd would like to go somewhere in the West. Kidd is still an elite point guard is a capable of dropping a triple double each and every night, so why not trade him and start over if your the Nets. But this is an ongoing process that happens

Slow Day In Sports

Since this is kind of a slow day in sports I am going to talk about something that all my readers love to here about and continue to come to the site just to read about him…TOM BRADY! Everytime I write a little blog about Tom Brady, I get a little comment from somebody who thinks that I am in love with him. I am going to tell you why I write about Mr. Brady probably about 4 times a week. For one he is in the news everyday, there is always something new about him out there and it always seems to interest me. Kobe vs Lebron

Who ya got in a fight Kobe or Lebron…well if they were in a real fight head to head, there would be some nice odds. I think that Lebron would be the favorite going in so we will put his odds at 1:1, but Kobe’s odds would not be bad they would probably be somewhere around 3:1. So who would I take, thats easy Lebron. Lebron just looks like more of a fighter then Kobe, he looks a little tougher and would not go down after one punch.

Now that, that is all cleared up who would you have on the court. As of right now again I would have to go with Lebron. Let me tell you why, I understand that Kobe has three rings, but how many does he have without the diesel, I will tell you 0…a goose egg. If he wants to score 40 points a game and keep losing then he is doing the right thing, but if he wants to win another championship he will have to start distributing the ball.
